Short courses
One-week courses are held in all handicrafts and at all levels, from the basic to the advanced level.Knowledge about materials and tools, the theory of form, the history of arts and crafts, cultural history, and preservation are important parts of all courses. In the menu to the right, you will find a list of available courses. You can click on the category of your choice.
Our courses are led by the foremost teachers within each discipline in Sweden. For the role of course-leader, we also engage adept craftspeople, artists and handicraft consultants who possess good pedagogical and inspirational skills. Many of them are also the authors of different handicraft books. Moreover, we invite teachers from other countries to lead our courses. Certain specially chosen lecturers are also engaged to provide complementary features for some courses.
